Global Equity strategies
The culture of teamwork that characterises Threadneedle underpins our successful global equities strategy. The global team is highly experienced and closely involved in the thematic analysis that helps drive the company's asset allocation process. Close liaison with the wider investment team helps our global managers to gain a full understanding of the research being undertaken at a regional level. The global team also conducts its own fundamental research that helps to place companies in a global context. The result is an active stock-picking approach that is demonstrably flexible in style and has delivered outperformance versus the MSCI AC World Index* in six out of seven calendar years since inception.
* As at 31 October 2011. The MSCI ACWI is a free float-adjusted market capitalization weighted index that is designed to measure the equity market performance of developed and emerging markets. The MSCI ACWI consists of 45 country indices comprising 24 developed and 21 emerging market country indices.
